The objective at this stage of the career counseling cycle is to help students

• realize all the relevant aspects influencing their career choice and after-school plans
• discover their current interests, expectations and wishes for future career
• explore various jobs and identify some as their tentative career options
• gather information about education and training required in their tentative future career, and support them to plan their educational paths
•  indicate the next steps they need to take to enter their education and career path after school
•  think other career options in related fields
•  make plans that help them reach their goals
